Program Overview
Armstrong To The Rescue is proud to host the Rescue Ready Kids™ & Teen Learning CPR Summer Programs, are transformative, hands-on initiative designed to empower children ages 9 to 18 with critical CPR, First-Aid, and emergency response training. Through interactive workshops and guided instruction, participants learn how to react in real-life situations with confidence, compassion, and clarity.
This program teaches life-saving techniques while also cultivating leadership, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility within the community. Each session is age-appropriate, engaging, and focused on making safety both accessible and exciting for our youngest heroes.
Rescue Ready Kids- Program Goals
The Rescue Ready Kids™ Summer Program is guided by the following goals:

Teens Learning CPR– Program Goals
The Teens Learning CPR Program is designed to empower youth with life-saving skills, knowledge, and confidence to respond in emergency situations. Our mission is to build safer communities by equipping teens with early preparedness, real-world application, and leadership development through CPR and First-Aid education.
Program Goals:

Increase CPR + First-Aid Knowledge & Skill Competency

Provide hands-on and virtual CPR/First-Aid education that develops the ability to identify emergencies, perform CPR effectively, operate an AED, and respond to injury or sudden health events.

Expand Community Preparedness Among Youth.

Teach teens how their skills can impact families, neighborhoods, schools, and peers—creating a culture where young people are prepared to act confidently during emergencies.

Strengthen Leadership, Social Responsibility, & Community Service.

Engage teens in developing responsibility as community protectors by understanding the importance of safety, emergency preparedness, prevention, and advocating for the well-being of others.

Promote Health Education & Lifelong Safety Awareness.

Encourage youth to value personal health, prevention, and risk awareness while building strong habits that carry into adulthood and future healthcare interest areas.

Develop Workforce Exposure & Career Exploration in Public Health + Safety Fields.

Provide equitable access to CPR training and First-Aid kits to underserved communities and youth populations who would otherwise have limited access.
Why It Matters?
